These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://mccabe-solutions.com and of every calculator, chart, table and calculation record it provides (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you accept these Terms in full. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Engineering Suite B2B is a collection of browser-based engineering calculators covering thermodynamics, unit operations and fluid mechanics. All computation is performed locally in your browser. The Service is provided free of charge and is financed through advertising.

2. Intended use and professional responsibility

The Service is intended for preliminary calculation, study and verification support. It is not a substitute for detailed engineering design, for certified manufacturer data, or for the judgement of a qualified professional engineer.

3. Licence to use the Service

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for lawful purposes, including internal professional and academic use. This licence does not transfer any ownership.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, mirror or republish substantial parts of the Site without written permission;
• interfere with the operation of the Site, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to any related system;
• use automated tools to generate artificial traffic, impressions or advertisement clicks;
• click on advertisements other than through genuine interest, or encourage others to do so;
• remove, obscure, relocate or interfere with any advertisement, attribution or legal notice displayed on the Site;
• use the Service in a way that breaches any applicable law, regulation or technical standard.

5. Intellectual property

The interface, source code, layout, original explanatory text and compiled data sets of the Service are protected by copyright and are owned by Engineering Suite B2B or used under licence. Trademarks, book titles and author names referenced on the Site — including works by Çengel & Boles, McCabe, Smith & Harriott, and Mott — belong to their respective owners and are cited solely to identify the engineering methodology applied. Their mention does not imply any endorsement of, or affiliation with, this Site by those authors or their publishers.

Physical correlations, equations and standard engineering methods are not owned by us; our implementations of them are.

6. Calculation records and generated PDFs

PDF calculation records are generated on your device and belong to you. You are responsible for reviewing, signing and approving them under your own professional accountability. The signature and review blocks included in the template are provided for your convenience and carry no validation from us.

7. Advertising

The Service displays advertising supplied by Google AdSense and its partners. We do not select, endorse or verify individual advertisements, and we are not responsible for advertisers' products, services or websites. Data handling relating to advertising is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Some features depend on third-party content delivery networks for charts, mathematical typesetting and PDF generation; if those providers are unavailable, some functionality may degrade. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation result is accurate, complete or suitable for your specific application.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Engineering Suite B2B shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profit, production, data, contract or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including any decision taken on the basis of a calculation result. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Engineering Suite B2B against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these Terms or from your use of a calculation result in a professional or commercial context.

12. Third-party links

The Service may link to external websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The revision date at the top of this page indicates the current version, and continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Engineering Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
